What Do All The Terrains Do Pokemon

I really do believe the terrain should have more effect on the spawning Pokémon types

I was hoping to get more h2o types, which are extremely sparce in my collection, past insencing in the center of a river. No result.

What is a Glameow doing in the h2o?

Edit: Glameow learned Surf!

Information technology's interesting because in the beginning year or two of Pokemon go yous did run across something spawn in the wild like water types nigh water so forth. That has slowly eroded and gone away in the last couple of years.

level ii

They said the Flavor of Discovery was supposed to expand on that, listing certain spawns in certain terrains. Just in the end I've seen all of them from my flat. It sucks because I work direct next to a lake, and it's nevertheless hard to find H2o types there unless either an outcome is happening, or it's raining.

level two

I saw a youtuber seeing how 200+ people ran for a Lapras in a embankment

level 2

Simply always h2o though. Nix else effected it. Everyone thought that grass and forest and desert etc would accept an effect. Merely nope

level ii

Yeah, I was disappointed when I recently was in Maui for holiday and had the exact same Pokémon spawn every bit I saw in my office loftier rise in the centre of an metropolis. I remember when the game first launched, it promoted exploring and finding new spots.

level 2

That's considering people complained. Example, water spawns were nigh non existent in the desert then those trainers rarely had chances to go karp/dratini.

level two

I live in the desert of west Texas, but the week Pokémon get came out I was on vacation in Galveston. I came back with so many h2o types when everyone else only had fire and ground.

level 2

I miss these days! There was a small-scale, small creek in my neighborhood that would always spawn Dratini's and the occasional Magikarp. It wasn't located about any stops or gyms it went under the radar and it was the best! I squeamish walk to assist with eggs and every time I could count on that spot to spawn me a goodie! I retrieve looking forward to playing during my Florida trip because existence from Ohio I knew I'd get a take chances at some serious water Pokémon. This was also in the first twelvemonth. I've since visited other areas where y'all would remember a specific blazon of Pokémon would spawn and I'thousand stuck with Wurmples left and right. Such a shame.

level 2

I recollect when I wanted water Pokemon, I'd go walk by the lake. Now if I want Pokémon I have to go to a Starbucks. It sucks.

level ii

Yep, about all my oldest water types were defenseless when I visited Florida

level 2

My uncle used to take the former walking hacks so I would go near the bounding main and a mall for poke balls and chill there used to exist things similar seadra which was on of the rarest things I constitute there and once a gyarados spawned simply it ran

level 2

I still remember on the outset 6 month of the game launch almost all the news is reporting about the launch of new AR game pokemon become, holding trespassing, and accident regarding people didn't look at their surrounding when finding pokemon

level two

Honestly I however become water spawns in my area considering I have a river in my back yard. Not enough to overtake the current result simply I all the same see a random Squirtle every day or so.

level ii

YES! My married man and I in the offset fifty-fifty had luck at apartment complexes with ponds and such- used to observe all kinds of Goldeens and Magikarps in that location. We took a four year break from the game and I was really wanting to evolve a Magikarp (they generally don't seem equally plentiful every bit they once were) so I went to some of the places we used to have luck and there was nothing. No water types of whatsoever kind. We're pretty country locked in primal Ohio so there aren't a lot of places with big water just I tried some small (natural to my knowledge) lakes at parks going to river parks etc and still goose egg.

level 2

When Pogo showtime came out, I had to drive to the beach nearby to become water Pokemon. Now, they're regularly spawn near me and I'thou 30 miles inland.

level two

I'm in Arizona. We get water spawns next to the city's gateways. When snowy cast form spawns ane a twelvemonth our discord blows the f upwardly

level 2

I am pretty certain I still get more Water-types when playing at the beach.

level 1

Didn't the game used to be like this?
