How to Get to Nokron, Eternal City
Whilst you can technically visit a portion of Nokron via the waygate at the peak of the ruins in the center of Siofra River, where you face up the Dragonkin Soldier, y'all can only access the urban center itself after defeating Starscourge Radahn.
With Radahn beaten, teleport to Fort Haight W in eastern Limgrave, south of Mistwood, and upon arrival you lot'll see to the northwest a huge crater has formed with rocks floating into the sky from the center. Head to the northern side and you'll see a slope leading downward. Bound from platform to platform and laissez passer through the tunnel to the due north to enter a ruined edifice. Dropping down to the base level, progress forward to emerge into Nokron.

To begin with, you'll emerge into a big cavern filled with dilapidated cathedral-type buildings. As you lot drib down onto the roof below, and along the first column, as you leap up to the pocket-size foursquare platform, turn correct to confront the east and you'll see a corpse on the roof across the chasm. From the northwest corner of this small platform, perform a running leap to land on the column and then run upwardly and jump beyond to loot the corpse and gain the Ghostflame Torch.
Driblet off the northwestern side to get a drop attack on a Silver Tear, and so continue around the side to face ii more Silver Tears on the left, and four up the roofs to the right. Have the ramp up the complanate building and follow along the narrow border of the next building to pass through an open window arch to the left (pictured above). Drop down the platforms and deal with the 2 Fallen Hawks Soldiers patrolling, as well every bit the three archers at the back of the room. Heading downwardly the steps y'all'll find a Site of Grace.
Past the Site of Grace, you lot'll emerge into a kind of town center, with a number of buildings to explore in/around. At that place are dozens of Fallen Hawks Soldiers roaming this zone, and so be careful as you get around corners and avoid getting swamped in the eye of the surface area where a lot of them are congregated. There are many Dew Kissed Herba, Melted Mushroom, and Argent Tear Husk to collect, as well equally Silver Firefly groups on the southwest ridge.
To the northeast in that location will be a large set of stairs leading downwardly, turning right every bit yous achieve the bottom you'll be faced with a Swordstress and a Silver Tear. Across them go along downward towards the big pantheon, upon inbound which you'll be faced with a boss fight.
Boss Fight Guide - Mimic Tear
The Mimic Tear acts as a replica of yourself. Though information technology begins as a blob on the floor, upon approach it will take your class, and possess all of your abilities and equipped items.
advertisement
As such, the strategy y'all'll demand to take volition vary wildly depending on your build. If you're spell-focused, time your casts so that the Mimic can't catch you out with its own spells. If yous're melee-focused, you'll desire to be watching out for parries and heavy attacks that the Mimic will endeavor.
Something you can practise to requite yourself an upper hand is to immediately summon Spirit Ashes, as this will provide distractions for the Mimic.
Upon defeating the Mimic Tear, you'll earn a Larval Tear and the Silver Tear Mask. Have a look at our guide to run across how to go the Mimic Tear Spirit Ashes.
Ancestral Wood Walkthrough
Upon defeating the Mimic Tear, activate the Site of Grace to the left and then continue up the steps and ride Torrent down the long pathway. As y'all begin to virtually the end, to the left is a slope leading down into a forested area with large numbers of Bequeathed Followers.
You lot'll note immediately on the left side of the stone path is a pillar. Interact with it to ignite information technology (which you'll need to discover the others similar to the base level of Siofra River). From this first pillar head northwest to the ridge with the Ancestral Follower Shaman. Dealing with the Shaman, you lot tin low-cal the pillar next to it.
advertisement
From there, head northeast, and on the cliff edge to the right of the last stone column is some other pillar.
And then head northwest and in a small-scale open up pantheon expanse with an Ancestor Spirit corpse, yous'll find the adjacent colonnade guarded past some Ancestral Followers and an Ancestral Shaman.
Go on northwest to the giant stone column surrounded by wolves and a variant of the Red Wolf of Radagan. Tucked on the far side of this stone cavalcade is another pillar to lite.
The final pillar is due north from that position, with the pillar being on the cliff edge guarded past 2 Ancestral Follower Shamans and some small Rats.
advertisement
WIth all the pillars at present lit, head back down east and find the pillars lining the stone staircase are too lit (similar to the procedure down at Siofra River), and upon climbing the stairs and interacting with the corpse at the far stop of the construction, yous'll be initiated into a boss fight.
Boss Fight Guide - Purple Ancestor Spirit
Very like to the Ancestor Spirit you lot will fight on the base level of Siofra River, the Royal Ancestor Spirit has a few unique caveats.
The Ancestor Spirit will often perform a 3-bounce jump into the air, with the third bounce holding in the air for a moment earlier the Antecedent Spirit slams downwards creating a shockwave. It can as well bounce into the air and so run through the air as it performs a strafing run, breathing blue fire. Like in style to the dragons in Elden Ring, just this strafing run attack is far easier to avoid, fifty-fifty without Torrent. The jiff of the Antecedent Spirit doesn't spread out horizontally once it hits the floor, so proceed moving every bit the boss takes to the air and move in the opposite direction as it starts to fire.
In that location are also a number of ram attacks that the Ancestor Spirit can perform, either a charge in a directly line or dashing to the side and diagonally thrusting with its horns. Both will stagger or throw you into the air depending on your build but can be dodged through if you roll towards the Spirit only every bit it reaches you.
The Ancestor Spirit tin can also breathe its burn equally it walks towards yous, merely this requires you to be in close proximity to its caput, which rarely happens due to the maneuverability in play during this come across. If yous spend also long behind it, it will boot out with its hind legs which will knock you over if it connects.

There are also two stomp attacks the Spirit will apply depending on your position in relation to it. At a altitude, it can perform a charge 3-move combo, swinging its caput from side to side before rearing upwardly into the air and stomping down in a shockwave. If y'all are below it, it can rear up on its hind legs and slam downward in an identical shockwave.
The aforementioned unique caveats are that this Ancestor Spirit tin can imbue many of its attacks with magic, making them hit far harder. This is specially axiomatic with the horn rams. The Spirit can also rear up on its hind legs and bunny hop around y'all, locking on with each return to the ground, so keep running and rolling should you encounter the Spirit begin to glow and pose like a kangaroo. Aside from its power to teleport, the main road crash-land in this fight is that equally the Spirits health gets low, it tin can begin absorbing in a spherical radius around itself the life strength of nearby beings. That is the purpose of the dozens of passive spirit animals in the arena. The bad news is that this absorption tin can almost touch on y'all and rapidly diminish your wellness while replenishing its own, and so run like lightning abroad from the Spirit if you see it initiate a call and start pulsing and emitting low-cal.
Upon defeating the Majestic Ancestor Spirit, you'll earn the Remembrance of the Regal Ancestor.
Nighttime'southward Sacred Ground Walthrough
Back in the Ancestral Forest, make your way southwest backside the Ancestral Shaman by the pillar to head upwards a slope and find a Site of Grace. From this Site of Grace, jump off the right side of the cliff face to land on the roof of the building below.
advertisement
Jump down the far terminate and loop effectually to the correct to enter Night's Sacred Ground. Jump across the gap onto the balcony below, then bound down again and loop effectually to jump to the domed roof on the left. Jumping down from there you lot'll face two Silverish Tears; one volition take the grade of you with a crossbow, and the one further back will wield a melee weapon. Head around the corner of the edifice in the southeast, and so drop onto the top of the destroyed arch.
Crossing over, you'll be able to drop into a large cathedral. Head to the back left-mitt side to find an Imp Seal. Unlocking it with a Stonesword Cardinal, y'all'll progress down a minor corridor and confront a Swordstress. Inside the breast she was guarding are the Mimic Tear Ashes, an incredibly powerful Spirit Ash to possess.
Heading back out and down the ladder to the lower level, you'll spot a Living Boulder (which you can kill for a Larval Tear) and a Swordstress beyond. Y'all can really sneak by these two, but be wary of a second Swordstress in the alcove to the right of the chairs. Passing through the open doors and down the stairs on the right, you'll see some other Site of Grace to the left, and to the right, at that place'due south a long walkway filled with Silvery Tears. One will transform to a spear and shield-wielded warrior, and the final one closest to the steps at the far terminate transforms into a Troll.
One time they are all cleared, inside the base of the behemothic throne is a chest containing the Fingerslayer Blade and a Corking Ghost Glovewort. There is a waygate to the left at the lesser of the steps to the throne that will transport y'all back to the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace.
Siofra Aqueduct Walkthrough

To the north of Hallowhorn Grounds are some Jellyfish floating amidst the trees. Head towards them and on the cliff edge is a corpse with an Old Fang. Below the cliff edge they occupy, you'll be able to drib down onto a ledge that leads left into a cave. Before you lot head into the cave, on the right side of this lower platform is a corpse with a Stonesword Cardinal. Inside the cavern, you'll pass a couple more than Jellyfish and and then discover a Site of Grace.
From the Site of Grace, follow the tunnel heading east then at the edge drib off onto the column bridging the gap, and so down onto the lower platform where a Lesser Crucible Knight is patrolling. A expert strategy is to caput to one of the open archways in these structures, and get the Knight to half health where information technology will brainstorm performing the flying sweeping attacks. If yous can line it up properly, you tin goad the Knight into performing this flying sweep and diving off the edge, killing it instantly and earning you the Crucible Hornshield.
In the construction to the southwest, you'll find a corpse with the Missionary's Cookbook (5). Continue north and you'll face up some other Lesser Crucible Knight overlooking the edge of the aqueduct. This Knight wields a big mace-blazon weapon, identical to the one y'all meet in Road's End Catacombs. Whilst there isn't a foolproof method like the first Knight, this one is decumbent to stagger should yous perform 3-4 jumping attacks. In the room to the east are three Fallen Hawks Soldiers; one with a sword, one with a shield, and one archer. They will come attack if y'all aggro the Knight, so information technology'south oftentimes best to deal with them first.
Heading outside to the southward from the room with the Fallen Hawks Soldiers, enter the structure and detect a Golden Centipede on the floor in the eye. There will besides be a Scarab to kill that drops the Order Healing Incantation. Around the dorsum ledge of the building is a corpse with a Golden Rune (7). Out of the northwestern exit (where the destroyed bridge is) at that place is a corpse hanging off the edge with a Golden Rune (thirteen).
Heading dorsum within and going upstream, a corpse lies in the water holding a Golden Rune (6). You lot can either go left or right from here. At that place is also however a secret room hidden behind the waterfall with iv Fallen Hawks Soldiers inside. There is also a Golden Centipede and a corpse holding a Smithing Stone (4). To the left is a small room with three Fallen Hawks Soldiers, a corpse holding a Rune Arc, and a Gilt Centipede in the south corner. You are likely to also draw the attention of the four boosted Fallen Hawks Soldiers (if you haven't dealt with them behind the waterfall), who will come from backside whilst yous're in this room, so don't let yourself get ambushed.
advert
Taking the right from the aqueduct, you'll find a Gilded Centipede confronting the outer wall and another near the banister, every bit well as an NPC cowering that will give you the Inner Order emote upon talking to him.
Move up the stairs to the northwest and you'll enter a boss arena.
Boss Fight - Valiant Gargoyles
This fight can exist devastatingly punishing if you go in underprepared or ill-equipped. It is recommended, if you're a melee build, to take a blunt weapon of at least +nine to deal sufficient harm. Information technology's also a very good thought to bring the Mimic Tear Ashes into the fight, upgraded to around +viii - the Mimic can depict aggro from one or both of the Gargoyles and can replicate the damage output of whatever build y'all are using.
Upon entering the arena, yous'll face the Gargoyle with the greatsword and axe who volition jump down from a ledge to the back right. This Gargoyle focuses on rapid slashing combos and swings with its axe, and like its analogue which enters the fight later, can emit a poisonous cloud from its oral cavity. This poisonous deject is deadliest in immediate proximity to the Gargoyles, and will mostly spread in a straight line ahead of the Gargoyle. Every bit such, back abroad from the Gargoyle and sprint/dodge to the side as it begins emitting the poison. The slashing combo virtually probable to take hold of y'all out is a double set of two slashes back and forth, catastrophe in an overhead slam downward. Rolling towards the Gargoyle can help you evade the slashes, but unless you perfectly time your rolls the slam tin catch yous out.
advertisement
This Gargoyle will occasionally fly astern into the air and linger for a second before performing a sweep with the axe as it flies towards you and slams into the ground. As the bulk of these attacks are dangerous to block, and you can't ride Torrent in this arena despite its size, you'll be needing to dodge curl as much as possible. Distracting information technology with your Mimic Tear Ashes tin allow you to easily make it some jumping heavy attacks, which if successfully executed one-half a dozen times tin can stagger the Gargoyle and let a critical strike.
When the greatsword/axe Gargoyle drops to effectually two-thirds to 50% health, the second Gargoyle (wielding a twin-bract) will sally from the waterfall at the dorsum of the arena. Keep your focus on the first Gargoyle, and if you can, continue your combat against it as close to the archway as possible to extend the time it takes for the 2d Gargoyle to reach the fight. You are most likely to exist overwhelmed, surrounded, and die if both Gargoyles are alive, very close to you lot, and can maneuver 360 degrees effectually you. Keeping the wall of the entryway close limits their range of movement, just as a trade-off pins you lot in a little more being in the open of the center of the arena.
The twin-blade Gargoyle is by far more aggressive than the first, performing similar swipes to the greatsword Gargoyle, but this Gargoyle is airborne far more often and can perform flurries where it juggles the twin-blade and creates a whirlwind. The chief attack to expect out for is spinning the twin-blade rapidly, where it then takes to the sky, lingers for a moment and so lunges with the tip of the bract in your direction, bringing the spinning vortex with information technology. As it lands, it performs a 360-caste spin with the blade which can easily take hold of yous out if y'all dodge its dive too soon.
Upon defeating the Valiant Gargoyles, you'll earn the Gargoyle's Greatsword and Gargoyle'southward Twinblade weapons. At the back of the loonshit is a coffin that you tin can interact with, climb inside and ride upwardly the waterfall to go far at Deeproot Depths.
