Solid Snake, Revolver Ocelot, and all their wacky mates render to PC today with re-releases of the commencement two Metal Gear Solid games popping up on GOG, afterward years hiding in boxes. The stealth serial was clunky but ahead of its time in a lot of ways (and I'm equally alarmed as anyone by how prescient their politics now seem) so I'g quite curious to see how the vintage tactical espionage action really holds upwardly. It'southward not going to be super-smashing, is information technology, but I'chiliad game. GOG have dug up the original Metal Gear too.
Metallic Gear Solid is now on GOG for £7.19, as is Metal Gear Solid ii Substance. Ratings board listings were spotted for them earlier this week, and at present here they are. Ye old Metal Gear from 1987 is upwards on GOG for £4.79 as well. Wild to think this one game came to spawn then much wonderful nonsense.
GOG are also now selling a collection of a few quondam Contra and Castlevania games: Castlevania, Castlevania II: Simon'south Quest, Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse, Contra, and Super C.
Correction: This post originally said the Contra & Castlevania games were the same equally the collections that hit Steam last year. Naw, they're not.
